Beauty My senses are open to the beauty all around me. n Unity, we often say that what we think on grows. Let us think on beauty in its varied forms all around us. Perhaps we have a vista before us with autumnal leaves or pristine snow, summer gardens or spring’s first green shoots. Perhaps as we go about our busy day we catch a snatch of a favorite song or bird’s call. A savory smell of cooking as we drive past a restaurant. The rumbling of a purring cat who is cozied up beside us. Wherever we are, in city or country, there is beauty around us if we seek it out. Check your senses. Look around. Listen carefully, friend. The beauty is there; let us focus on these things. Philippians 4:8, “Finally, my brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honest, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things.” 11/25/2018 | |
