Resilience

I rise up again and again, for the Lord is with me and lights my way.

any people fail. But failure is not a permanent condition. There were thousands of experiments that led to electrical lighting. Most of them failed. Yet, we have various light bulbs today. Why? Because those involved in the pursuit of electrical lighting did not stop after one failure or a thousand failures. It is not the failures that matter, but learning from them, and then getting back up and finding a new way to try. The only failure in life is if we learn nothing from experience or let it stop us from ever trying again.

So, let us get up and brush ourselves off. Let us look at our goals from a new angle, formulate a plan, and start again.

Micah 7:8, “Rejoice not over me, O my enemy, because I have fallen; I shall rise again; though I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.”
