Permission

I have permission to remove the negative from my life, to do what is needful for me, and to succeed.

egative situations arise. Negative people abound. We need not set up camp or build a new city to live permanently in a negative situation or with negative people. We can shake the dust off our feet and move on to higher pastures, to better lands, to richer lives. We have permission to move on.

In Genesis, God tells us to subdue the earth of our bodies, and that we have dominion over our emotions (fish), our spiritual thoughts (fowl), and our more carnal desires (beasts). It does not say that we have to subsume ourselves into other people’s dramas. We are given all we need to grow and to succeed, to subdue and have dominion over ourselves. We have permission.

Genesis 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild beasts that move upon the earth.”
