Vitality

The Lord provides me with vim, vigor, and vitality!

here will be times when we feel lethargic, perhaps in general or perhaps about a particular project or task we have to do. Sometimes it is a matter of breaking out of a pattern of thinking to allow ourselves to enter into the task gratefully and joyfully with the vitality we need to accomplish all that we need to do.

At times like these, we need to simultaneously turn inward and outward. We turn inward to find the vitality and strength that God provides for us. We turn outward to change our focus. Instead of thinking how we dislike the task or are too tired, let us focus on how others will benefit from what we are about to do.

Psalm 36:9, “For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light.”
