Dominion

I have been given dominion over all that moves within me.

he Bible, interpreted metaphysically, is our journey through states of consciousness, culminating in Christ Consciousness. From the first chapter of the first book, the Bible tells us that we were created with the power that we need to succeed. God gave us dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, and all that moves upon the land. We are given dominion, or the ability to control, our emotions, our spiritual thoughts, and our more mundane thoughts.

We can control our emotions and thoughts, not harshly as a wicked king, but gently as a loving shepherd. Not anxiously, but assuredly, for we have the authority of God behind us, and God still stands ready to guide us.

Genesis 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild beasts that move upon the earth.”
