Change I cooperate in the unfoldment of God’s plan for me. o life goes as we have planned. Change comes knocking in a hundred ways every day. A co-worker calls in sick, we receive a phone call, letter, or neighbor knocking on our door. Change can shake our routines. Perhaps we get a new job that is on the night shift, and we have to adjust. However change comes and whatever its form, we need to accept it quickly, to adapt knowing that God has His plan for us: a plan leading to spiritual growth and good. It does nothing to complain bitterly or resist. Such actions do not alter facts. By adopting change, by acknowledging change, and by blessing change, we avoid the drama that others bring to their days. Job 1:21, “And he said, Naked I came out of my mother’s womb; and naked shall I return; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” 8/26/2012 | |
