The Blessing of Change

Through divine wisdom, I quickly find the blessing with each change in life.

hange is inevitable. From the day we are born to the day we die, change is all around us. Every change comes with a choice. Shall we fight it? Shall we accept it? Shall we rail against the change? How do we live in these new conditions? Even a desired change, such as a marriage or new child, can bring difficult adjustments.

Knowing that every change comes with a blessing gives us something to focus on. We have a choice to look for the blessing that accompanies the change. Rather than fighting change, we can accept it and ask for divine wisdom to guide us in discovering how it will make things better or the lesson we need to learn.

Genesis 32:26, “And the man said to him, Let me go, for day is breaking. And (Jacob) said, I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
