Rely on Me

I rely on the Christ within me, which guides me with wisdom and love.

e are told that faith can move mountains, and we want to have faith. We want to move mountains. We want the obstacles removed from our paths. We want our spiritual growth, and we want it right now! Yet, the mountain sometimes stubbornly sits there before us, unmoving, unchanged. The mountain is within us. The mountain is a part of us.

Sometimes the way to get past the mountain is not to move the mountain, to blast it out of the way, to toss it into a distant sea. Sometimes we must redefine the mountain…and redefine ourselves. We are the mountain, and we can see from its heights. We are the mountain, and we step forward on the other side.

Mark 11:23, “Truly I say to you, Whoever should say to this mountain, Be moved and fall into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes what he says will be done, it will be done to him.”
