Let Your Eye Be Bright

My eye is bright, my soul shines, and it illumines every corner and crevice of the world.

cripture says, “The lamp of your body is your eye…” This speaks not of the physical eye, but the mind’s eye; it is about how we see things, how we say things, and how we react to situations. We have the power to change the world by changing our thoughts. If we see good, we will experience good. If we are suspicious, if we see only bad in others and in the “world of the flesh,” we will experience negativity.

Our mind is a mighty magnet and the universe will reinforce the thoughts we send out to do our work. Let’s look at our world and the people in it and say, “God has given you to me for good.”

Luke 11:33-34, “No man lights a lamp and puts it in a hidden place or under a basket, but on a lamp holder, so that those who enter may see its light. The lamp of your body is your eye; when therefore your eye is bright, your whole body will also be lighted; but if it is diseased, your whole body will also be dark.”
